A PROPOS
The RUSTS est un nouveau groupe suisse d'Indie Rock en anglais. Les quatre musiciens ont fait partie de divers groupes avant de se réunir autour de ce projet.
En ces temps pour le moins chaotiques, The RUSTS se sent l'envie composer pour ressentir et transmettre une intensité potentiellement libératrice.
L’esprit est underground, vénérant l'énergie de la musique live. Le son et la culture sont typiques du rock anglais -universel et intemporel- tels Stereophonics, Oasis ou Kings Of Leon, avec une touche personnelle et contemporaine.
Un rock anglophone puissant destiné à réveiller des pulsions endormies, résolument authentiques.
SONGWRITER
Un grand merci à Christine, qui signe toutes les paroles du groupe. Sa plume décalée, parfois incisive, nous emmène au travers des mondes et constitue la colonne vertébrale de nos compositions.
“My words could be a mirror for anyone, they talk about everyday struggles, the grief of losing oneself sometimes and the difficult journey to come back after that. They talk about difference and the need for acceptance, about the sheer beauty of an artist mind and the craziness of our times.
When I behold the world, I see loss and fear but I can also catch a glimpse of hope and joy, two sides of the same coin. These songs are a bit of both, light and dark with a pinch of cynicism thrown in between.”
